yellow-bulb sign out front. You can have the art on the walls, the furniture-and,
on course, the clothes, from L.A. couturiers like St. Vincent, Magda Berliner
and Grey Ant. Owners Cynthia Vincent and Alisa Loftin even invite the designers
to dress the windows. If you’re not in the mood for a new wardrobe, you can
always get a flipbook or Japanese gummy candy. “I’m just a kid,” Vincent admits
as she hands a customer a free toy, as promised, with her purchase.
